About NI Company Insolvencies
NI Company Insolvencies turns the corporate insolvency notices of The Belfast Gazette into a list you can search by company, council area, county, procedure and month. Every company gets one page that gathers its notices in date order, so a liquidation that produced five adverts reads as a single story rather than five scattered entries.
Who it is for
Suppliers checking whether a customer has gone into liquidation, landlords and lenders tracking a tenant or borrower, journalists following the local economy, and anyone in Northern Ireland who wants to see how many businesses are failing and where.
What is in, what is out
Only registered entities — limited companies, LLPs, societies and similar bodies — named in the corporate insolvency section. Personal insolvency (bankruptcy, IVAs, debt relief orders) is a separate Gazette category that we never read. Solvent members' voluntary liquidations are shown, clearly marked, but excluded from insolvency totals.
Independence
This is a private, independent project. It is not run by, or connected with, The Gazette, The Stationery Office, the Department for the Economy, the Insolvency Service, the courts or Companies House.
Updates
The Belfast Gazette is a weekly paper; our copy is refreshed every working day so that a new issue is picked up within hours of publication.
